State Representative Tim Ginter (R-Salem) today applauded Governor Kasich’s signing of House Bill 116, legislation he sponsored. The bill will allow partial drug prescription refills for the purpose of synchronizing multiple prescriptions for one patient.

During this week’s voting sessions, the Ohio House of Representatives passed four pieces of legislation sponsored by Rep. Jonathan Dever (R-Madeira), which now await consideration by Governor John Kasich.
 

State Representative Mike Duffey (R-Worthington) announced passage of House Bill 359, legislation he sponsored with Rep. Anne Gonzales (R-Westerville), which establishes for the first time in Ohio an Address Confidentiality Program for stalking and domestic violence victims.

The Ohio House of Representatives yesterday passed legislation that reins in the use of civil asset forfeiture, a judicial process by which the government can take a person’s property based on the allegation of its involvement in a crime without ever charging the individual with a crime.
 

The Ohio House of Representatives yesterday concurred on Senate amendments to House Bill 200, sponsored by State Representative Christina Hagan (R-Alliance). The bill expands the list of facilities that are able to obtain non-patient specific epinephrine for the purpose of treating anaphylactic shock. Such places included in the legislation are restaurants, colleges and universities, amusement parks, sports facilities, child care settings and other locations.

Speaker of the Ohio House Clifford A. Rosenberger (R-Clarksville) today applauded the passage of legislation that would rename the Columbus airport in honor of legendary Ohioan John Glenn.

State Representative Dorothy Pelanda (R-Marysville) announced that the Ohio House concurred yesterday on Senate amendments to House Bill 164, legislation that strengthens Ohio’s Conviction Record Sealing Law. Rep. Pelanda was a joint sponsor of the bill.

State Representative Terry Boose (R-Norwalk) today applauded the passage of House Bill 451, legislation stating than an individual cannot make life support decisions for their spouse if they are going through a divorce or if the individual is subject to a protection order and the patient is the victim.

The Ohio House today concurred on changes made by the Ohio Senate to legislation aimed at increasing efficiency and saving taxpayer dollars in local governments and state agencies.
