Speaker of the Ohio House Clifford A. Rosenberger (R-Clarksville) today released the following statement regarding the news that John Glenn, former astronaut and United States Senator, has passed away:

State Representative Mike Henne (R-Clayton) today announced that the Ohio House has passed Senate Bill 27, legislation that would create presumptive eligibility for workers’ compensation for firefighters diagnosed with cancer.

The Ohio House today voted in favor of implementing a number of policy initiatives aimed at reducing Ohio’s alarmingly high infant mortality rate.

The Ohio House of Representatives today concurred on amendments made by the Ohio Senate to legislation that revises Ohio’s child abuse and neglect reporting law. Included among the changes made by the Senate was language from House Bill 69, otherwise known as the Heartbeat Bill.
