Legislation to protect in-person and online religious services from disruption was passed this week by the Ohio House, State Representative Mark Johnson (R-Chillicothe) announced. 

State Representative Susan Manchester (R-Waynesfield) Wednesday announced the General Assembly has approved House Bill 95, her bipartisan legislation that creates a beginning farmer tax credit to assist one generation of farmers to the next.

Phil Plummer (R-Dayton), requires high-volume, third-party online sellers to disclose certain pieces of identifying information in order to protect consumers. 

House Bill 531 introduced by State Rep. Haraz N. Ghanbari (R-Perrysburg) passed unanimously on the House floor Wednesday and now moves to the Senate for further consideration. Ghanbari, the primary sponsor of the legislation, noted the bipartisan bill allows a county prosecutor to partner with certain entities to provide legal services

Speaker Bob Cupp (R-Lima) announces $500,000 for Delphos to assist the city with lead service line replacements. The funding is based on grants from the H2Ohio initiative.

State Rep. Scott Lipps (R-Franklin) announces House Bill 324, also known as “Shirley and Wilma’s Law,” has passed out of the Ohio House. The bill ensures that patients are allowed access to both family and clergy amid a pandemic such as COVID-19. Lipps spoke to the bill on the House floor.

Speaker Bob Cupp (R-Lima) announces that nearly $100,000 has been approved by the Ohio State Controlling Board during their meeting today. The funding will be focused on enhancing campus safety.

State Rep. Scott Lipps (R-Franklin) announces the Ohio Senate approved House Bill 136 earlier this week and it now heads to the governor’s desk. Lipps is the primary sponsor of the bill.
