COLUMBUS— On Monday morning, Rep. Bride Rose Sweeney (D-Cleveland) and Rep. Allison Russo (D-Upper Arlington) filed broad anti-corruption legislation that would require dark money groups to identify their funders and disclose their spending. The bill would also strengthen restrictions against foreign corporations and foreign governments influencing Ohio elections.

Crossman (D-Parma) today announced the introduction of a bill that would strike provisions in the Ohio Revised Code prohibiting collective bargaining for currently exempted General Assembly employees, including legislative staff.

Crossman (D-Parma) announced plans on Tuesday to introduce a bill that would strike the provision in Ohio Revised Code that prohibits collective bargaining for currently exempted state employees, including legislative staff.  A co-sponsor request was sent to the entire House of Representatives on Monday. The deadline to sign on as a co-sponsor is Monday, July 20.

State Rep. Allison Russo (D-Upper Arlington) announced Monday the state Controlling Board approved another round of federal funding to support Ohio’s efforts to respond to the COVID-19 outbreak, including $300 million in federal funding to offset Ohio’s K-12 schools and colleges and university’s costs of keeping students and staff safe in the fall.

COLUMBUS — State Rep. Allison Russo (D-Upper Arlington) today announced that Governor Mike DeWine signed into law House Bill (HB) 287, a bipartisan bill introduced with Rep. Rick Perales (R-Beavercreek) that would allow reciprocity for Medicaid home and community-based service (HCBS) waivers for the family members of active-duty military when families move to Ohio for military assignment. These Medicaid waivers are often necessary to provide custodial and nursing care for individuals with significant developmental disabilities.
